Wesley Rider joined Truland Homes in March of 2012 as a Project Manager. Through diligent work ethic his advancements with Truland Homes include; Project Manager, Area Construction Manager and Director of Construction. Wesley is currently Director of Operations reporting to the President and CEO. Wesley serves as central support for the Gulf Coast Divisions, securing execution of company initiatives with highly detailed engagement on overall operations. In his role, he is responsible for reducing cycle time by 40%, in parallel, reducing direct cost by 10%. Wesley also assists Mason Ballard in streamlining the build process, while ensuring strong trade relations.
Wesley has been integral to growing Truland Homes from 63 closings in 2012 to projected 388 closings in 2019, Revenue of $17,744,079 in 2012 to projected $126,258,399 in 2019.
Wesley’s exposure and experience in the construction industry began at a very early age. Prior to becoming a Truland Homes team member, he worked in the concrete industry which helped prepare him for his future in home building. He graduated from the University of Mobile, top of his class, with a major in Business Finance. His diversified background brings the rounded experience to continue to grow/move Truland Homes forward.
Outside of work, Wesley’s focus is on family. He enjoys time with his wife Lori, as well as their young children Charlie Kate and Cooper. He is passionate about coaching and mentoring youth, Wesley believes by impacting the youth, he can impact the future.
