LIVING ON THE ALABAMA GULF COAST.

"I came to the Alabama Gulf Coast on a vacation 10 years ago and couldn’t leave! The beaches are gorgeous, the people are friendly, and the food is to die for. Life is slower here - but it’s all the sweeter for it! I wouldn’t live anywhere else!"

ALABAMA GULF COAST

The Alabama Gulf Coast is home to white-sand beaches, vibrant communities, and a slow-paced southern lifestyle. The land is diverse; you’ll find stunning beaches that melt into rustic farmland, which then turns into uniquely charming towns – all within an hour of one another. Its people share a love for community, hospitality, and delicious southern cooking (plus some good college football). From Gulf Shores’ famous music festivals and thrilling watersports; to the cultured community of Fairhope with its boutique shops and art galleries; to quiet nights on the porch in the picturesque spots in between, the Alabama Gulf Coast welcomes people of all backgrounds and interests with open arms and a neighborly hug.

Its stunning landscapes, quality schools, and low cost of living have families flocking to the area.  Baldwin County is the fastest-growing county in the state, creating jobs and communities in the thousands every year. Through its people and its land, Baldwin County blends a luxurious lifestyle with a small-town touch that always feels like home – and it does so seamlessly, as though they were always meant to meet. And, so does Truland. Our designs are luxuriously crafted but always personal, leading to a place that feels both lavish and homey. Our neighborhoods and homes are the perfect compliment to the Baldwin County way of life, and the perfect first step to making your home here.

Bay Minette

Bay Minette is a small town with a proud heritage. It is the county seat and houses the Baldwin County Courthouse, giving it plenty of employment opportunities in the governmental, legal, and educational fields. The city has a charming and old-world feel and is surrounded by restored Civil War and early American historical sites that feed the town’s proud history. The economy is based on a thriving timber industry thanks to the region’s beautiful pine forests. The family-oriented city has seven municipal parks that offer amenities such as playgrounds, gazebos, a lavish community pool, skateboarding parks, sports facilities, and more. Our Bay Minette homes help give local families the perfect place to live in quiet, happy bliss.

Spanish Fort

Spanish Fort is a fast-growing community with a small-town feel. Located on the mouth of Mobile Bay, the city is close to beautiful waterfront views, lush rural landscapes, and a stunning state park. But the busy city center is full of commercial centers, shopping malls, recreational activities, and restaurants. Spanish Fort is known for having superior educational opportunities, a thriving economy, and a low cost of living. Its prime location is a convenient driving distance from Mobile, Southwest Florida, and the whole of Baldwin County. This makes it the perfect home base for workplace commuters or those who want to be close to the action. Voted one of the ‘best places in Alabama for young families’, Spanish Fort continues to grow every year – and Truland is proud to support that goal with our luxuriously planned neighborhoods and homes.

Daphne

Daphne is known as the “Jubilee City” because of its shoreline location on the Mobile Bay. The town oozes southern charm, from its quiet streets shaded in Spanish Moss to its beautiful waterfront views. There are plenty of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts – waterfront parks and piers, wildlife preserves, fishing and airboat tours, and more are all easily found around the city. The downtown area is known as OldTowne Daphne and offers a charming mix of past and present – modern shopping and eating spots have taken root in beautifully historic homes and buildings. The city is complemented by some of the most prestigious private schools in the area, which is a huge draw for young and wealthy families. The locals are welcoming and lively, whether they’re celebrating the Mardi Gras holiday or enjoying a community shrimp boil. You’ll love becoming a member of this great community in a beautiful Truland neighborhood!

Fairhope

Fairhope is a picturesque waterfront town that combines culture with southern charm. There are few places in Baldwin County more scenic than its bayfront district with its live oak trees, waterfront walkways, and antebellum houses. The charming downtown area is a pedestrian-friendly collage of local boutique shops, art galleries, restaurants, and live music venues. Fairhope’s celebrated schools, family-friendly atmosphere, and scenic streets make it one of the most sought-after cities in the county. Each one of our Fairhope neighborhoods reflects its beauty and ambiance, and they provide the perfect place to live and thrive in this remarkable city.

Robertsdale

Robertsdale is a perfect portrait of small-town living. It is a rural area, home to picturesque farmland and dense pine forests – don’t be surprised to see at least 3 cow fields on your way to work! Its central location gives its residents quick access to both the southern beaches and the bustling northern cities of Baldwin County. The city has many parks and sports complexes for families, and the local schools are a combination of public and private catholic institutions. The downtown area is a tribute to historic southern buildings, though it has many modern amenities for the local population. Its low cost of living, quiet family atmosphere, and convenient location make Robertsdale a great home for families who want to be close to the beach, but far from the summer crowds.

Foley

Foley is a quaint yet busy town about 10 minutes north of the Alabama coast. It allows quick beach access and fun amenities that have overflowed from the tourist destinations while keeping its quiet ambiance. Museums, music venues, shopping malls, and over 100 unique restaurants are enjoyed by residents and tourists alike. The famed OWA theme park is also a local favorite. But it’s not all busy – residents of Foley enjoy quiet suburban neighborhoods, a historic downtown area full of parks and family activities, and the slow pace of life that the area is known for. Our Foley neighborhoods capture the city’s mixture of bustling energy and southern charm to perfection.

Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores is often thought of as a tourist beach destination – and for good reason. Its white-sand beaches, cool blue surf, and sugar-fine sand make it a tropical beach oasis. But its family-centered atmosphere and warm southern hospitality come from the thousands of local residents who enjoy the city year-round. It is a prime place to raise a family – environmental conservation and strict city policies keep the area beautiful, quiet, and safe. The mix of fresh local seafood and southern cuisine makes the area one of the best spots for food in the country. The economy is strong thanks to its large tourism sector, and jobs are plentiful. Gulf Shores formed its own city school district in 2017, which places an emphasis on exemplary education and community pride. Truland’s beautiful homes and neighborhoods help build this community into an Alabama gem and a great place to live.

Orange Beach

The sister-city to Gulf Shores, Orange Beach brings its own touch of charm to the Alabama coast. It has some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, from stunning beaches to quiet bays and inlets. It is also home to the most diverse wildlife and ecosystems in the area, which are strictly protected by the city’s environmental policies. If the landscape isn’t enough, there’s also a bustling tourism industry that offers plenty of activities, restaurants, shopping, and economical advantages. Because of its thinner crowds, Orange Beach is the most popular beach town in Alabama for year-round residents and one of the safest cities in the state for families. Enjoy your new beach lifestyle in one of our beautiful Orange Beach homes.
